Yamazaki 12 Year Single Malt is a celebrated Japanese whisky produced by the Yamazaki Distillery, part of Suntory. This distillery was founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii and Mazataka Taketsuru. The Yamazaki 12 Year is aged in three types of casks: ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and Japanese Mizunara oak. This meticulous aging process imparts a complex and refined character to the whisky. With an ABV of 43%, it is chill-filtered and colored, ensuring a consistent appearance and smooth texture.
